I have been waiting so long for this film to come out not only due to its amazing cast including Sam Riley (Control), Garrett Hedlund (Country Strong, TRON), Kristen Stewart (Twilight) and Tom Sturridge (Waiting For Forever) but also due to its gripping storyline as it's based on the best selling novel by Jack Kerouac.
The cinematography is used to provide a beautiful backdrop to this story following Sal as he invites us into his life with Dean Moriarty where he is constantly on the road travelling to different parts of the country. It captures the essence of being young, careless and free that is true and relatable to all who watch it, despite it being based in 1940-50 America.
