Stay High

So finally the sun is out which means I can finally wear my 2 piece that I've been DYING to wear! I've become a little bit too obsessed with jungle print/anything 90s these days so the print and the halter top is perfect for me. It's ideal to wear with air maxs if it is a bit colder or some heeled jellys. Another new purchase I've made is the orb choker I'm wearing, it's Vivienne Westwood style but for much cheaper!

That's Cute, I Get Cheques From Them In Paris

It's like Christmas has come early with two of my online orders being delivered on the same day!

Would highly recommend going on the Gilly Hicks website to get last minute deals before they close down

And to distract myself from the rubbish weather I'm focusing on summer with this lilac high waisted gingham bikini from River Island which I love unconditionally

Let's Get A Drink Sometime

I've always loved and looked forward to the witty posts from the Man Repeller and so to find that Leandra Medine had wrote a book meant that I willingly scraped together the last bit of my wages to purchase it. Thank god I did.

Although she openly describes her hatred for being compared to Carrie Bradshaw she really is the living, breathing her (with a hint of Bridget jones). When I say I couldn't put this book down I honestly mean it, you can see my unfinished essays as proof of that.

Focusing each chapter around a particular piece of clothing or accessory accompanied by funny anecodotes this is ideal for anyone that loves fashion and a bit of (anti?) romance.

Now She ASAP

Literally the definition of a pig this weekend and it's made me feel disgusting, I know giving into cravings is normal but it's given me my mantra of - enduring temporary satisfaction or a lifetime of happiness (translation: do you want to eat that *insert relevant craved food* to enjoy for a short time or have a hardcore to die for bod that you can have all year round? Answer: give me the perfect bod any day!)

However in terms of fitness I've been really impressed with the blogilates which I'm now on the last week of completing to then move onto the April Abs calendar. I've also been completing the 5 day Daily Hiit beginners challenge which I would recommend for people that have busy days and find it hard to fit excercise into their day. It's a short circuit with high intensity that you undergo 3 times with 10 second intervals to break up the 50 second moves. You can sign up to both blogilates and the daily hiit through their websites.

Enjoy your Easter and don't make the same mistakes that I did!

Let's give them something to talk about

The sun was B E A uuuuuutiful today just in time for rest day. I've just started Jack Kerouac's Wake Up which is based on the story of the Buddha and forming Buddhism today. I love both the author and the subject so I'm sure I'll enjoy it but even the little bit that I've read, the style of writing has me hooked.

A new app I would HIGHLY recommend is ASAP54 which can help you find clothes that you see in pictures (or similar ones, it rarely finds the exact match unless it's designer) it's exceptionally good for if you're looking for specific colours ie if you're looking for a matching outfit

I've also found some inspirational pictures of clothes that I would love to get including these beauties

Cigars on ice

So Thursday night I had a change from the normal places I go out and went to DSTRKT in London, which was sooooo good although my head wouldn't agree with me Friday morning when I had to go to work on 4 hours sleep (I am practically infunctional without at least 6/7 hours sleep)

I wore a sapphire blue motel dress, which is not normally what I go for (I'm a bodycon kinda gal) but the colour was so nice and because of its floaty shape I'm pretty sure any size could wear it

We built this from the ground up

Another ootd post but it's better than my lack of posts I've tended to suffer from right? I'm really sticking to my beginners workout from blogilates.com and love it, it's so easy to fit into a busy schedule and I can see the results already! Also in terms of beauty I've also discovered from a family friend a new and cheap way to help clear skin by declogging pores and that is baking power, it's so cheap and all you have to do is add some water to make it into a paste and leave on the skin until it hardens (it can be quite difficult to apply initially so you need to be quick) and voile sorted.

I haven't had a chance to wear any of my new buys yet but when I do I'll keep you posted
