Another ootd post but it's better than my lack of posts I've tended to suffer from right? I'm really sticking to my beginners workout from blogilates.com and love it, it's so easy to fit into a busy schedule and I can see the results already! Also in terms of beauty I've also discovered from a family friend a new and cheap way to help clear skin by declogging pores and that is baking power, it's so cheap and all you have to do is add some water to make it into a paste and leave on the skin until it hardens (it can be quite difficult to apply initially so you need to be quick) and voile sorted.

I haven't had a chance to wear any of my new buys yet but when I do I'll keep you posted

Hands On The Wheel

As the sun was out and it was (should I jinx it?) warm I went for something different today. As I now have literally a month off for Easter eyp I can actually have a proper look around all the shops which I haven't had time to do in agesssssssssss so hopefully more buys to be posted about soon!

I Was Here First

I AM FINALLY FREE FROM EXAMS! For anyone that is doing their A-Levels as well you will know the relief I am feeling right now, it also gives me more time to upload my recent-ish buys:

In terms of beauty I've decided to change my skin routine and purchased the Liz Earle travel kit as well as some samples from Clarins

For holiday I went for some bolder nail varnishes from Urban Outfitters in "Pom Pom" and "Blueberry"

Topshop/Forever 21 underwear 

As some of you may or may not know I have a teeny obsession with Vanessa Hudgens and more specifically her Coachella outfits. These crocheted shorts were therefore a reflection of that style.

Due to me getting back into running/losing weight/toning up I bought some more bikinis and running gear in order to motivate me for the perfect summer body.

This was basically all of my paycheck for the month so hopefully you think it's as worth it as I do.

Topshop And Vogue Event

So I was lucky enough to go to the Autumn/Winter preview in Topshop Knightsbridge on Wednesday which  included nail bars, makeovers, champagne and canapés.

During the preview Autumn/Winter trends were also highlighted and linked to the future garments. Trends included:

Factory Girl which is essentially an updated take on the mod look - this means more short skirts and dogtooth prints.

Oversized - Outerwear and Knitwear is comfy and baggy

Exaggerated Waistlines - Taking another take on the peplum in the form of tops,dresses and even trousers have thick belts to accentuate the waist

Matching - Leather tops and shorts, printed jackets and trousers are matching

English Heritage - Always a favourite during autumn/winter, presenting the countryside and hunting wear

Dark Florals - not as bright as the summer florals but still adds print and colour to the autumn/winter wardrobe these are mostly used on shirts and dresses

When she was just a girl, she expected the world

In the January issue of Vogue, I have to admit that Florence Welsh looks absolutely stunning, she literally looks like a Grecian goddess. I have also found the most gorgeous wedges imaginable (bit of an exaggeration but there you go) but I need to find a good enough reason to buy them because at the moment I have nothing! I'll keep you updated on that situation.

I also reaaaaaally need to start revision, as in ASAP because my exams are in January and to be honest I don't really want to be revising on Christmas day. Has anyone else got exams then?

And anyone that has tried Topshop make up before let me know your comments as I want to try a few things.

Do you recognize me?

So for those of you who have been reading my blog recently I mentioned about dalmation nails, as seen on the topshop catwalk. Well I think dalmation print could possibly be the new leopard print (don't get me wrong I'm still hopeful at trying to find the perfect leopard fur coat and matching chelsea boots)

And on the topic of coats and animal prints I found two coats that I am in desperate need of - one being dalmation print and the other being a print similair to leopard print:

Animal Print Capelet - shearling collar and duffle toggles.

Dalmation Print with contrasting collars and cuffs.

I know that it's slowly nearing towards the end of summer and everyones getting the school/work blues but I'm still trying to make the most out of what's left of summer. Hopefully a nice shopping trip will do the trick.

When I grow up I want to be......

Results Day wasn't too bad I got 2A's, 6B's, 1C and 1E - the E being the bad result. obviously. Results night on the other hand was very.... interesting. Here are a couple of pictures just to quench you're curiousity.

you can't see the dress very well but it's a red petite cut out dress, I LOVE the colour! And in relation to results and careers I am happy to announce that I FINALLY know what I am going to do after sixth form, which is a very big sigh of relief as I had no clue, I am now looking at courses at London College of Fashion and Central Saint Martins in regards to fashion courses.

And on  a completly different note, if most of you don't know by now I have a bit of a shoe fetish and have now fallen in love with these leopard print shoes from topshop <3
