So I was lucky enough to go to the Autumn/Winter preview in Topshop Knightsbridge on Wednesday which included nail bars, makeovers, champagne and canapés.
During the preview Autumn/Winter trends were also highlighted and linked to the future garments. Trends included:
Factory Girl which is essentially an updated take on the mod look - this means more short skirts and dogtooth prints.
Oversized - Outerwear and Knitwear is comfy and baggy
Exaggerated Waistlines - Taking another take on the peplum in the form of tops, dresses and even trousers have thick belts to accentuate the waist
Matching - Leather tops and shorts, printed jackets and trousers are matching
English Heritage - Always a favourite during autumn/winter, presenting the countryside and hunting wear
Dark Florals - not as bright as the summer florals but still adds print and colour to the autumn/winter wardrobe these are mostly used on shirts and dresses

When she was just a girl, she expected the world
In the January issue of Vogue, I have to admit that Florence Welsh looks absolutely stunning, she literally looks like a Grecian goddess. I have also found the most gorgeous wedges imaginable (bit of an exaggeration but there you go) but I need to find a good enough reason to buy them because at the moment I have nothing! I'll keep you updated on that situation.
I also reaaaaaally need to start revision, as in ASAP because my exams are in January and to be honest I don't really want to be revising on Christmas day. Has anyone else got exams then?
And anyone that has tried Topshop make up before let me know your comments as I want to try a few things.

Better to be hurt with the truth than comforted with a lie
As promised here are the babies I bought at the Paul Smith sample sale:
and I know that a lot of you are going to think that this is a tad dramatic but trust me when it comes to Vogue, it's my bible. So to find them drenched because of my radiator leaking was terrible! Luckily I used my hair-dryer to dry out the pages but otherwise there would of been trouble!
I'm also looking for my new years outfit now (I know it's a tad early but I can never find things when I'm actually looking for something!) anyway I have some ideas and I'm going shopping today to get the heels I want.
Also I see that a lot of you are commenting on my posts and I'm really happy to see that and I hope that you will continue in doing this, so it's given me an idea.
I am going to do a post on recommended blogs to follow so that all of you will have the chance to get more followers simply by commenting on this post ENTER ME and your blog URL. To enter this you must be following me (and I will check) either through bloglovin' or just the follow button on my sidebar.
GOOD LUCK I will be doing the post probably on sunday/monday so get commenting!
I know that I may get some negative feedback on this shirt but it's absolutely amazing on!
there is more but it was stuff that I bought for my family so I won't bore you with that.

Put that gun right to my heart
I've been browsing Vogue's website quite a lot recently and found the image above from one of the slide shows, still can't believe that Hailee is younger than me and is already modelling for Mui Mui.
I am also really liking Valentino's spring/summer 2012 range, there's a lot of white and black lace which is always a favourite of mine as it's elegant and for all ages.
however I was really looking forward to seeing the Versace for H&M range and sadly I'm not a fan. Don't get me wrong it is very much Donatella Versace but not something that every woman can wear or would like to wear. I would like to hear all your views on the collection to view it, see www.vogue.co.uk

dance til you dead.
FINALLY got my secret santa present today :) and maths exams are over as are the indoor sports day thing. Just have the english coursework and history test on monday oh and just the simple cervical cancer jab. yeaahh not that simple though. Oh and I was supposed to say yesterday but I completley forgot that I got the January issue of vogue and I must say it's looking a little anorexic and I'm not talking about the models. It is a lot thinner then the last couple of issues. I have yet to find out what is to become of 2010 except that pastel colours are back (especially a pastel pink). I'll tell you about the jab tommorow, wish me luck :)
